• SPAGL is a family-owned business with tradition with its director Fabian Pernpointner.
• The headquarters since 115 years are in Hutthurm-Kalteneck, Northern Passau region in the beautiful Bavarian Forest.
• Another production facility is situated in Southern Bohemia (Volary/Czech Republic) since 20 years.
• In total, there are 110 employees working for the SPAGL-group, 52% of them are women.
• SPAGL is also a well-known training company offering training in various jobs. Right now 2 trainees are working for SPAGL.
• Approx. 70,000 linear metres of mouldings leave the production site every month.
• The main customers are from Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
• In addition, SPAGL exports to more than 30 countries worldwide.
• More than 1,500 customers are serviced by SPAGL, mainly the classic specialized retailers, picture framers, galleries, internet shops, contract suppliers (for hotels, public authorities and the like).
• SPAGL strongly emphasizes sustainability and uses almost only wood from certified forestry (certified according to the criteria of the FSC), mainly from the Bavarian Forest.
• Environmental concerns are continued regarding to the packaging and thus reusable transport packaging is used that the customer returns after taking out the merchandise.
